<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the seaming process of air bag by mounting a suspended belt in an air bag main body, and by mounting a tong fixed on a peripheral part of a gas injecting port of the air bag main body as well as on a base plate, on an end part of the suspended belt. CONSTITUTION:In an air bag device 11, a gas generator 17 is fixed on a square base plate 13 by a fixing means 15, and an air bag main body 19 is provided, by which the gas generated by the gas generator 17 is received from a gas injecting port 21, and is expanded. In the air bag main body 19, suspended belts 23 are mounted on the inside of a front side panel 19a, and an end part 23a of each suspended belt 23 is mounted on the base plate 13 through a square retainer 31. A tong 27 is fixed on the end part 23a of each suspended belt 23, and a fixing means 33 of the retainer 31 can be inserted into a mounting hole 28 provided on each tang 27. The suspended belt 23 can be fixed thereby at the time of fixing the retainer 31.</p> |
