<p>PURPOSE:To improve sealing performance and assembly strength by sandwiching a peripheral part of a gas injection port of a bag main body between an inner circumferential side wall of a retainer and an outer periphery of a gas generator, and by forming an uneven part at least on the inner circumferential side wall of the retainer or on an abutting surface with the outer periphery of the gas generator. CONSTITUTION:An air bag device 11 is provided with a gas generator 17 fixed on a base plate 13 by a fixing means 15, and an air bag main body 19 having a gas injection port 21 in which the gas generated by the gas generator 17 is flown. The front end side of the gas generator 17 is protruded forward on a transparent hole 15 provided in the center of the base plate 13, while a gas blowout port 17a is inserted into the air bag main body 19. The peripheral part of the gas injection port 21 is fixed on the base plate 13 through a retainer 14. An inner circumferential side wall 14a that can be abutted on an outer peripheral part 17b of the gas generator 17 is formed on the retainer 14, and uneven parts 20a, 20b are formed on the side wall 14a, and on the abutted surface with the outer peripheral part 17b of the gas generator 17, by knurling process and so on.</p> |
