FLUID ACCUMULATOR USED IN ANTI-LOCK BRAKING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: To control secure anti-lock by a simple device by constituting an accumulator receiving fluid for brake during a phase where a pressure during anti-lock operation is reduced in such a way that stored fluid for brake can be held at a zero pressure or a pressure close to zero. CONSTITUTION: A control valve 10 constituting a main part of an anti-lock brake system has an accumulator assembly 11 to hold brake fluid at a zero pressure or a pressure close to zero during anti-lock operation. That is, this assembly 11 has a plunger 28a energized to the left by a spring 28c and a piston 28b pressed against an end wall of a housing 28d by the plunger 28a. The plunger 28a moves to the right against the spring 28c together with the piston 28b when it receives master cylinder liquid pressure in a line 18b in an anti-lock mode to store fluid in a reservoir 28 of which volume is expanded sequentially.
