<p>PURPOSE:To completely burn a surplus gas generated in the thermal decomposition of a waste oil, etc., by using a heating furnace which has a combustion chamber in the lower part, an inner tube with a bottom opening, formed in the center of the chamber, an outer tube provided with a spiral pipe therein, and a surplus gas combustion chamber installed in the center on top of the outer tube in such a manner as to project from the top and having a spirally wound hot water pipe provided therein. CONSTITUTION:The title heating furnace comprises a combustion chamber 4 in the lower part; an inner tube 2 with a narrowed bottom opening, formed near the center of the chamber 4; an outer tube 1 provided therein with a spiral pipe 3 having an inlet and outlet for a material to be treated; and a surplus gas combustion chamber 10 installed near the center on top of the outer tube 1 in such a manner as to project from the top and having a spirally wound hot water pipe 10a provided therein. In the heating furnace, a surplus gas generated in the thermal decomposition of a waste, such as a waste oil or a low polymer, can be introduced into the surplus gas combustion chamber 10 and burned. Since the chamber 10 is provided therein with the spirally wound hot water pipe 10a through which water flows, it can be prevented then from undergoing an abnormal heat build-up. While the surplus gas is burned in the surplus gas combustion chamber 10 in the upper part of the heating furnace A, an unburned gas in the combustion chamber 4 will also be burned in the chamber 10.</p> |
