PURPOSE:To prevent the contamination of a recording member by toners and the contamination of an image and improve reliability by installing a coating means for applying a mold separating agent on the surface opposite to the image surface of the recording member between a fixation part and an accommodation part. CONSTITUTION:An oil-impregnated felt 57 as oil applying means for applying oil as mold separating agent for applying mold separation performance to the surface little by little is arranged in contact with the surface of a pressurizing roller 52, and pres-attached on the surface of the roller 52 by a leaf spring 58. During a series of operations, a small quantity of silicone oil is always applied on the surface of the roller 52 by the felt 57. Accordingly, when a copying paper S passes through a nipping part (n), the contact surface with the roller 52 of the copying paper S, i.e., the nonimaged surface is applied with silicone oil uniformly, and after the passing through the nipping part (n), the nonimaged surface of the copying paper S is coated with a thin silicone oil layer uniformly. Since the nonimaged surface of the copying paper S is very smooth, and slippage performance is improved, the foreign material such as toner hardly adheres. |
