PURPOSE:To accurately display the implication of a blood vessel by dynamically changing a threshold value, and extracting only the blood vessel effective for display. CONSTITUTION:When the projection processing of two-dimensional data from three-dimensional data is performed, a picture element on a line from a visual point to a projecting plane is assumed as one-dimensional data, and an alternation curve holding a peak value sequentially from the visual point is found. A material body existing at a position where the difference of the alternation curve goes to non-zero is assumed as the blood vessel, and furthermore, the material bodies that go to non-zero successively are assumed as one blood vessel. By performing such processing, it is possible to always extract only the blood vessel having a value higher than that of the blood vessel this side. Then, the projecting processing is applied to the representative value of those blood vessels. In such a way, the implication of the blood vessel is accurately displayed. |
