PURPOSE:To reduce costs for equipment by installing at least one or more equipment for sanitary services including a bathtub and a toilet in an appropriate place and on the position lower than the plane of a living room for elderly or disabled persons where a space other than the above-mentioned appropriate place is left as a living space. CONSTITUTION:Two mats in a corner of an eight-mat room are removed. To the space 1, a bathtub 2 and a toilet unit 3 are installed as an integrated sanitary equipment with their upper side opened, and a sanitary equipment unit 4 is formed. The upper end of the openings 5 and 6 of the bathtub 2 and the toilet unit 3 are made to be lower than the upper end of the space 1 so that an elderly or a disable person can make good use of the equipment for taking of the bath or using of the toilet without being helped. The upper openings 5 and 6 are optionally opened and shut with a shutting means 9 that covers the two openings together. When the openings are shut, the space can be used as a part of a living space 8. The bathtub 2 and the toilet unit 3 can be made usable by opening the upper openings 5 and 6. Thereby equipment for sanitary services can be installed without reducing the space for living. |
