The method consists in shaping, in its thermostable state, using a material having elastic or plastic memory, an element capable of being deformed by heat, according to a predetermined thermally unstable shape in relation to the hollow body that is to be produced and/or lined on the inside; thermally deforming said element so as to make it assume, in a thermally unstable state, a desired shape dimensionally smaller than the definitive thermostable shape; introducing into said hollow body said element in the shape of reduced dimensions as determined in its thermally unstable state; subjecting the element to a heat treatment which allows it to regain its thermostable shape, whereupon the material will shape and/or line the hollow body on its inside without further need for direct access inside it. The means are essentially comprised of a thermally deformable material, such as can be brought from any given fundamental shape in which it exists in the thermostable state, to a reduced thermally unstable shape, from which, by application of heat, it can return to the original shape, the thermally deformable material being placed, in its thermally unstable state, inside the hollow body, or being introduced consecutively into it, for example, by means of foreign elements, which can or should be accommodated in the hollow body. <IMAGE> |
