The subject of the invention is a cable-car cabin. The standard basic elements (2a, 2b, 3, 4) (bearing elements) are made of composite materials, as are the modular elements (5a, 5b, 6, 7) (assembly elements), the said elements (2a, 2b, 3, 4 and 5a, 5b, 6, 7) being assembled together by assembly means, and the doors of the cabin being mounted on horizontal slideways. The doors include an opening finger and/or closure finger which interacts during the movement of the cabin in the station with a mechanical stop fixed in the station, in order to create the opening or closure movement. The doors are joined together by two cable loops. The invention applies to cable-car cabins. <IMAGE>
