<p>PURPOSE:To improve the print speed by providing plural drive means to one end or both ends in the arranging direction of blocks and allowing each drive means to supply the power corresponding to the print data via an individual signal line corresponding to plural blocks included in each block to a print element included in a selected block. CONSTITUTION:A picture forming device is provided with a print means 70 being a light emitting diode and plural (20 in this embodiment) print blocks A1-A20 of the print means 70 are arranged in a line in the horizontal direction in figure and expose a photosensing body carried in a direction (vertical direction in the figure) orthogonal to the arrangement direction to form a picture. A couple of drive means DR1a, DR1b are arranged respectively to the end of the print blocks A1-A20 in the arrangement direction and light emitting diodes included in each block are energized sequentially. The print block A1 has plural (2 in this embodiment) blocks A1a, A1b and the other print blocks A2-A20 have the similar constitution.</p> |
