PURPOSE:To obtain an images with a high picture quality and high grade even when a recording medium is a special purpose paper such as an OHP paper, etc., by a method wherein for an information which is related with a color which is formed by compounding inks with different colors, inks are respective used for one time, and for an information for which a single color ink is sole used, recording is performed by lapping over the ink for several times. CONSTITUTION:A discrimination information which shows that a recording medium is an OHP paper, etc., is input by a DIP switch 33 or an operation key 16. For dots which are formed by using Y, M, C or Bk solely, since a dot diameter becomes small by one time of recording in the case of OHP paper, repeated recordings for two times are performed, and as the result, a sufficient dot diameter can be obtained. In the meantime, for dots which are related to a color which is formed by mixing either two of Y, M or C such as R, G, or B, since the ink quantity becomes sufficiently large even by one recording, only one time of recording is performed. |
