PURPOSE:To improve coating limit speed by using a web with specified surface roughness, and specifying the angle formed by a slide end surface to the level. CONSTITUTION:A paper, a plastic film, a resin coated paper or the like which has 0.3mum surface roughness is used as a web. The angle formed by a slide end surface to the level is set at 45-120 deg.C, and viscosity of coating liquid at the time of low shearing of the coating liquid is adjusted as 90cPs or more, and 80cPs or more as the average of the whole layer. High speed coating can be carried out by said arrangement without generating liquid sagging.
