DEVICE FOR CUTTING THERMOPLASTIC RESIN FILM

PURPOSE:To prevent miscut pieces from being produced by providing a square pelletizer consisting of a slitter, a scraper and rotary blades. CONSTITUTION:A strip of film (a) is inserted between slitters 6 and cut into short strips (b) which are then dropped. The short strips (b) are scraped out by a scraper 3 and cut widthwise between a fixed blade 9 and a movable edge 8 of a rotary blade 4 into small pieces (c). The short strips (b) and the small pieces (c) left uncut by the rotary blade 4 are supplied into a rotary shredding machine 11 so as to be cut into small pieces (c) by a cutting part 17 between a movable edge 19 of a rotary blade 12 and a fixed blade 16. The small pieces (c) cut into a predetermined or less size along are passed through the mesh 13 of a screen 14 and dropped. This prevents the occurrence of miscut pieces of the film and also the clogging of a blocking or screen.
