PURPOSE:To minimize the irregularity caused on the outer surface and to improve the dimensional accuracy by using a thermoplastic resin, a melting point or a deformation temperature of which is lower than that of the thermoplastic resin of an inernal- layer resin pipe between the filaments of a fiber composite body. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing layer composed of a fiber composite body is formed on the outer circumference of an internal-layer resin pipe as a core material molded by a thermoplastic resin. The fiber composite body is shaped by holding the thermoplastic resin to reinforcing fibers consisting of a large number of continuous filaments through impregnation, etc. A thermoplastic resin, which has high compatibility with the internal-pipe resin pipe and is melted or softened at a temperature the same as or lower than that of the resin of the internal-layer resin pipe, is used as the thermoplastic resin. That is, a resin, a melting point or a thermal deformation temperature of which is lower than the resin employed as the internal-layer resin pipe, is used from thermoplastic resins capable of being employed as the internal-layer resin pipe, and the fiber composite body and the internal-layer resin pipe are fused at a temperature lower than the melting point or deformation temperature of the internal-layer resin pipe. |
