PURPOSE:To enhance positioning accuracy of a tool and surely perform mounting and removing operation of the tool through a gripper, by providing a fitting rugged part, fitting a positioning member, in the peripheral surface of a tool storage pot or hollow pin in the case of a chain for a machining center. CONSTITUTION:A rugged surface 7 is formed between inner ring plates L2 on the peripheral surface of a pot or a hollow pin 2 serving also for a connecting pin of a chain C for a machining center. While a positioning member 8 forms on its surface a rugged surface 9 fitted to the rugged surface 7. Accordingly, if the rugged surface 9 the positioning member 8 is fitted to the rugged surface 7 on the peripheral surface of the pot or the hollow pin 2, a positioning device, surely fixing a relative position relation between the positioning member 8 and the pot or the hollow pin 2 even if the inner ring plate L2 idly moves with the pot or the hollow pin 2 in the axial direction, surely positions the pot or the hollow pin 2, stabilizing further remarkably improving the positioning accuracy. |
