The invention relates to a device for machining complex shapes. The device according to the invention is characterised in that it comprises a rotor (6) of non-circular shape, interacting with a fixed cam (7) having substantially the shape to be machined, the said rotor (6) being rotationally driven by at least one eccentric driver (3) interacting with the rotor (6) through the use of an elastic shock-absorbing (damping) member (5) such that the said rotor (6) remains bearing via at least one point of its periphery against the said cam (7), the said rotor (6) carrying a machining tool (9) or a component to be machined.
