This head, which can be fitted to a machine tool, translates a drive movement to a plurality of tool spindles (6) each one mounted on a spindle housing (13), possibly associated with a relay housing (10) and adjustable in terms of angular position about a mounting axis (9). At the base of a drum (26) surrounding the housings (10, 13) a setting disk (28) is mounted so that it can rotate about the overall axis of the head, and including grooves (32) each of which is traversed by a hub (25) of a spindle housing (13) located on the movement output side. Thus, the rotation of the setting disk (28) makes it possible synchronously to modify the distances between all the tools (11) and the overall axis of the head. <IMAGE>
