PURPOSE:To obtain the subject pile having high quality with simple operation by impregnating a softening and water-repelling agent into undrawn polyamide fiber, drawing the impregnated fiber, cutting to short fibers, carrying out heat- treatment and dyeing and finally subjecting to electrodeposition treatment until the specific resistance of the fiber reaches a specific level. CONSTITUTION:A silicone-based or fluorine-based softening and water-repelling agent is impregnated into an undrawn polyamide fiber. The impregnated fiber is drawn at a draw ratio of 2-3, cut to short fibers, heat treated by heating at 100-180 deg.C for several minutes, dyed and finally subjected to electrodeposition treatment until the specific resistance of the surface of the fiber reaches <=1X10<10>OMEGA/cm under standard state to obtain the objective pile. |
