PURPOSE:To improve the response of the titled device by inputting a load current value as a detecting signal at the time when a current control operation processing time has been passed from the generation of the succeeding ignition pulse from a pulse generating means for generating an ignition pulse on the basis of a phase control signal outputted from a digital current control means. CONSTITUTION:Respective thyristors constituting an electric power converter 1 are controlled at their ignition phases by an ignition pulse Pc from a gate pulse generating circuit 8. Current (i) flowing into a load 3 is detected by a current detector 4 and inputted to a digital current control means 6 through an A/D converter 5. The means 6 inputs a power supply command signal i* generated from a current command circuit 7 and the current detecting signal (i), executes current control operation and outputs a phase control signal v* corresponding to an ignition phase angle equivalent to the difference DELTAi of both the signals to the gate pulse generating circuit 8. Receiving an initializing signal Sc from the current control means 6, an operation time discriminating circuit 10A sets up a fixed time td and applies an operation start command signal Pi to the current control means 6 as an interruption signal INT after td from the input of the Pc. |
