PURPOSE:To improve the ion conductivity of the membrane by composing the electrolyte membrane by filling an ion conductor in the hollows of a solid high polymer porous membrane with independent penetration holes of a specific mean hole diameter. CONSTITUTION:The electrolyte membrane is composed by filling an ion conductor in the hollows of a solid high polymer porous membrane having independent penetration holes of the mean hole diameter 0.01 to 0.7mum. In this case, since the hollows are penetrated almost in straight lines, the ion conductor filled in the hollows can be transported from the surface to the rear side of the membrane in a short distance and without a trouble by a maze wall, and the transparency of the membrane is better than a maze structure membrane. Consequently, an electrolyte membrane with an excellent dynamic strength, a flexibility, and an excellent ion conductivity can be obtained. |
