<p>PURPOSE:To confirm the erasure of the contents of an EPROM by ultraviolet- ray irradiation in a short time by providing the EPROM built-in microcomputer with a subordinate EPROM whose contents are harder to erase by ultraviolet- ray irradiation than the main EPROM. CONSTITUTION:The EPROM built-in computer is placed in test mode and address specification is carried out for the contents of the subordinate EPROM 1, so that the contents can be read out. Then the contents of the subordinate EPROM 1 are read out and when it is confirmed that the contents are erased, it is confirmed that the contents of the main EPROM 2 which are easier to erase by the ultraviolet-ray irradiation than the subordinate EPROM 1 are erased.</p> |
