PURPOSE:To obtain a moldable rodenticide composition exhibiting an excellent rodent-repellent effect for a long period of time in a low cost comprising a terpenoid with microcapsuled, contained in a porous material or made as clathration with a host compound and an organic polymer. CONSTITUTION:At least one rodenticide selected from a terpenoid obtained by microcapsulating with a wall material such as polyamide, a terpenoid obtained by including in a porous material such as porous silica or zeolite and a terpenoid made as clathration with a host compound such as cyclodextrin is mixed with an organic polymer to afford a moldable rodenticide composition having an excellent rodent-controlling effect (especially rodent-repellent effect) with keeping said effect for a long period of time in a lower cost than that of cyclohexadiene as a former rodenticide. Besides, an essential oil containing <=10wt.% volatile component having <=200 deg.C boiling point is preferably used as said terpenoid. |
