Wave-powered energy plant - has controlled flaps for periodic closure of peripheral drum chambers around rotational shaft

The energy plant allows the wave movement to be converted into a rotation using a series of drum chambers, supported by a common rotation shaft. Each drum chamber has a slit through which water can enter, with double sealing flaps (3, 4) for periodically blocking the individual chambers. The sealing flaps, are controlled so that the ingress of water and the contained air ensure continuous rotation of the shaft. The space enclosed by the inside walls (1) of the drum chambers pref. comprises a hollow chamber acting as a float. ADVANTAGE - High energy efficiency.
