<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to receive function explanation service when a user forgets a keyword or does not know it by displaying an icon for instructing the explanation of functions, and after specifying the icon, specifying an icon for indicating another information processing function and explaining the function of the icon. When the button on the pointing device is released, the sort of a function to be explained is discriminated based upon the positional data of the icon instructing the function explanation at the time of releasing the button and data obtained from a window information storing part 5 and application for the function explanation is started to explain the function. Thereby even if the user forgets the keyword or does not know it, the function service can be provided to the user.</p> |
