PURPOSE:To achieve excellent reproduction without any influence of some abrasion of a reproducing stylus tip, etc., using one surface of the tip of the reproducing stylus with more than one surfaces as an electrode-formed surface for information reproduction, and by using another surface as a sliding contact surface which increases in area of sliding contact as abrasion advances. CONSTITUTION:On one surface of a reproducing stylus body 8 made of diamond, etc., an electrode-formed surface 10 is formed and at the tip part, a sliding surface 12 which slides on a track of a disk relatively is also formed. The lead- in part 11 of the sliding contact surface 12 is formed as a vertex, from which a ridge is extended slanting upward. An electrode 9 adhered to the electrode- formed surface 10 has a couple of edges made substantially parallel at the tip part of the reproducing stylus, and an end edge extending to a successive connection part 13 between the electrode-formed surface 10 and sliding surface 12. |
