Toll system for transport users, comprising a transport ticket (2) for each user, characterised in that each transport cell (1) comprises transmission/reception equipment (4), a microcomputer (5) and, at the entrance for the users, an entry terminal (3) having transmission/reception means, in that the microcomputer (5) is connected to said transmission/reception equipment (4) and to said entry terminal (3), and in that said transport ticket (2) contains an information-processing member (7) with a memory (8), and transmission/reception means (10 to 13), the information exchanges between the transport ticket (2), on the one hand, and the transmission/reception (4) and entry terminal (3), on the other hand, being made by radio-electric transmission.
