PURPOSE:To make it possible to shield the leakage magnetic field on the whole area of the plane surface when the shield of leakage magnetic field is necessary by a method wherein shielded coils 2, on which the current value of a coil or the arrangement of the coil is set in such a manner that the leakage magnetic flux of a storage coil on the plane surface where a shield, consisting of a plurality of coils having the same magnetic flux center as the storage coil will be cancelled each other. CONSTITUTION:The shield coils 2 of a superconducting power storage device is composed of 10 annular coils of different sizes having the same center axis as the storage coil (1) provided on the same plane surface 50 meters below the ground surface (4). The current value of coil or the arrangement of coil is set in such a manner that the leakage magnetic flux of the storage coil on the plane surface, where the shield is necessary, will be canceled each other. |
