A whirlpool bath (28) has a pump (12) which receives water from the bath outlet (26) and delivers it to the nozzle (2). A second pump (12a) returns excess water to the pump inlet through the valve (23). Air can be vented from the system through a valve (25). The valve (23) can be adjusted to produce the required jet from the nozzle (2) or it can be clsoed completely in order to shut down the whirlpool bath. This valve (23) is electromagnetically actuated and the operation of the bath can be controlled by a computer program. USE - Whirlpool baths.
