Filter arrangement - for dust removal from gases

In a dust extractor gas is introduced to a filter. The incoming gases are passed into a feedhead which can be moved back and forth. At one extremity gas it admitted from the process chamber to the clean chamber. At the other, gas is connected to a filter unit. Each of the several filter units is fitted to its own feedhead which moves axially between the two positions. USE/ADVANTAGE - The arrangement obviates the need to incorporate elastic bellows, which are subject to mechanical ageing and attack by certain solutes, thus improving the long-term performance of gas filtration units. The filter is intended for use in association with vortex bed equipment.
