<p>PURPOSE:To execute efficient sampling with a comparatively low speed inexpensive element by deviating a sampling position of an input video signal for each field and sampling the signal and synthesizing the sampled data. CONSTITUTION:A sampling signal generating means 16 generates a sampling signal with different sampling position for odd number and even number fields in an input video signal and an A/D converter 7 samples the input video signal over two-field (one frame) by using the sampling signal to form a sampling data. Then sampling data of two-field outputted from the A/D converter 7 are synthesized by a level detection means 9 to form one set of sampling output data as to one frame. Thus, sampling output data with practically sufficient accuracy is obtained with a low cost circuit.</p> |
