<p>PURPOSE:To make remaining capacity of a compressed space formed on the top end of a lap almost zero so as to improve cooling capacity by forming a circular arc which is connected to a fulcrum between the outside curve and the inside curve of an involute curve at the top end of the laps of a fixed scroll and a swing scroll. CONSTITUTION:Laps 13, 16 wherein the winding-start angles of outside curves 24, 26 and inside curves 25, 27 which are involute curves respectively are shifted by 180 deg.C are formed at a fixed scroll 7 and a swing scroll 8. Laps 13, 16 are respectively provided with a circular arc 28 of a radius R1 connected to the winding-start point of the outside curve 24 of the fixed scroll 7, and a circular arc 32 which is connected to the winding-start point of the inside curve 27 of the swing scroll 8 relative to the circular arc 28 and which has a radius R4 longer than the radius R1 of the circular arc 28 by the turning radius E of the swing scroll 8. Likewise, a circular arc 31 of a radius R3 connected to the winding-start point of the outside curve 26, and a circular arc 27 having a radius R2 longer than the radius R3 by the turning radius E of the swing scroll 8.</p> |
