The teat consists of a flexible plastics hollow component composed of a mouthpiece and holder (4). The mouthpiece is joined to and held in the holder by a positively acting arrester. - The mouthpiece (1) and holder (3) are joined by a diaphragm (2) which differs in part in material hardness or wall thickness from the holder. At its mouthpiece hole the holder should have a holding ring into which fits a ring shaped shoulder (5) on the foot part of the mouthpiece.
