The invention relates to a disengaging mechanism which comprises an arm (47) integral with a pivoting push rod (48) whose end moves in the slide-groove (52) of a slide (50) placed in the elongations (46) of a plate (44). The slide (50) comprises a window (51) through which the manual operating of the locking part causes or does not cause the unlocking of the locked lock, the change from locked to unlocked being obtained by the rotation of the plate (44) about a fixed axis (43) of the lock. An electrical drive device can ensure the rotation of the plate (44) by the intermediary of a pivoting lever (18). The invention also relates to a motor vehicle door lock comprising this disengaging mechanism.
