<p>Organoborane imidazole compounds having activity as agricultural fungicides are represented by the general formula: <CHEM> wherein R is an aliphatic group and R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, R<4>, X and Y are selected from hydrogen and various aliphatic and aromatic substituents. For example, R can be an alkyl or alkenyl group, R<1> can be an alkyl group and R<2>, R<3>, R<4>, X and Y can be hydrogen. Intermediates from which the compounds of formula I may be prepared are also disclosed.</p> |
