<p>A vehicle of the type in which one of the pairs of wheels(4),(6) thereof is carried by a self-tracking axle (10) is described. The speed of the vehicle is sensed and a control unit (36) is provided which, in response to signals indicative of the speed, serves to activate the locking mechanism (16) of the self-tracking axle (10) when the speed is at a predetermined level to fix the wheels in the straight ahead position at this speed. <IMAGE></p> |
