Neue und bekannte 2-Iminopyridin-Derivate der allgemeinen Formel (IA) <IMAGE> in welcher R¹, R², R³ und R<4>: unabhängig voneinander für Wasserstoff, Halogen, Alkyl, Halogenalkyl, Alkoxy oder Halogenalkoxy stehen, R<5>: für Cyano, Alkylcarbonyl, Alkenylcarbonyl, Alkinylcarbonyl, Halogenalkylcarbonyl, Halogenalkenylcarbonyl, Halogenalkinylcarbonyl, Alkoxycarbonyl, Alkylthiocarbonyl, für jeweils gegebenenfalls substituiertes Phenylcarbonyl oder Phenoxycarbonyl, für Alkylsulfonyl, gegebenenfalls substituiertes Phenylsulfonyl, für Alkylaminocarbonyl oder gegebenenfalls substituiertes Phenylaminocarbonyl steht, A: für Alkandiyl steht und; Z: für gegebenenfalls substituiertes Aryl oder gegebenenfalls substituiertes Hetaryl steht, und deren herbizide Verwendung sowie Verfahren zur Herstellung der neuen 2-Iminopyridin-Derivate.
