<p>PURPOSE:To accomplish starting and stopping in a short time by providing a member for applying load on a driving roller and a clutch for load. CONSTITUTION:By disconnecting a clutch for resist roller 66 and the clutches for load 72 and 73, a resist roller 60 is stopped. On the other hand, by connecting a clutch 67 for a driving roller and rotating a driving roller 61, the paper is conveyed to the roller 60 side. Since the clutches 72 and 73 are disconnected and the load by paper conveying rollers 62 and 63 as a load member is not applied to the roller 61, the clutch 67 need not be a high torque type clutch and starting the roller 61 is completed in a short time. When the leading edge of the paper conveyed by the roller 61 abuts on the roller 60, the roller 61 is stopped in a short time because the rollers 62 and 63 are linked to the roller 61 through the clutches 72 and 73. By disconnecting the clutches 72 and 73 and connecting the clutches 66 and 67, starting the roller 60 is completed in a short time because the load is not applied to the roller 61. Thus, the high torque type clutch is made needless, and starting and stopping is performed in a short time.</p> |
