PURPOSE:To stop and restart the operation of a control circuit without affecting the operation of a circuit to be controlled by storing the control signal right before the control circuit stops its operation and defining the stored control signal as the initial value when the control circuit is restarted. CONSTITUTION:The control circuit 33 of a 1st plug-in unit 31 supplies the con trol signal via the control terminals 36 and 37 to instruct a prescribed operation to a 2nd plug-in unit 32. An initialization circuit 34 inputs the control signals outputted to both terminals 36 and 37 via the initial value terminals 38 and 39 right before the removal of the unit 31. Then the circuit 34 initializes the circuit 33 for output of the same control signal even after the unit 31 is mounted again. The storage circuit 41 of the unit 32 stores the control signal right before the detection of the removal of the unit 31 and the stop of operation of the circuit 33 and then supplies continuously the stored control signals to a circuit 42 to be controlled. Thus, it is possible to stop and restart the operation of the circuit 33 without affecting the operation of the circuit 42. |
