PURPOSE:To improve the throughput of a memory controller by providing a data counting area at the head of a memory to store the data count value. CONSTITUTION:The data areas 32-1 - 32-n of a control memory 26 store the control instruction data respectively. The data count value stored in a data count area 31 is increased by a central controller 21 and decreased by a device 28 to be controlled. The data count value shows the number of pieces of control instruction data written in a data area 32. Under such conditions, the data count value is increased by an amount equal to the number of data written into a memory and decreased by an amount equal to the number of data read out of the memory. Thus plural pieces of data can be processed at one time. Then the writing/reading process efficiency is improved to the memory. |
