PURPOSE:To enable arrangement in a tubular space and to acquire desired withstand voltage and capacity readily by series and parallel connection by attaching and forming a polarizable electrode on both sides between slits of a sheetlike separator, by attaching and forming a current collector having a lead-out terminal on a polarizable electrode and by bonding them by an armor sheet held between the both sides. CONSTITUTION:A polarizable electrode 2 is attached and formed on both sides of a part between slits 4-1, 4-1 of a separator 4. A current collector 3 having a lead out terminal 3-1 which extends to the side of the sheet is attached and formed thereon. The both sides of the current collector 3 are held between armor sheets 1, and opposite edge parts and opposite parts through the slit 4-1 are adhered each other. Thereby, a sheetlike electric double layer capacitor having a number of independent basic cells C is acquired. Since a metallic material is not used, it is possible to realize a compact wound shape, to connect each independent basic cell C in series and in parallel arbitrarily by connecting the lead-out terminal 3-1 properly and to acquire desired withstand voltage and capacity. |
