PURPOSE:To generate absorption in a near infrared region, and to improve developing properties, raw shelf stability and the stability of a coloring picture by using a specific compound as an electron dative colorless dye utilized for color development by a contact with an electron acceptable compound. CONSTITUTION:Color development by the contact of an electron donative colorless dye and an electron acceptable compound is utilized, and a compound shown in formula I is employed as the electron donative colorless dye. In formula I, Ar1 and Ar2 represent an aryl group having an amino residue or a heterocyclic group, R1-R4 a hydrogen atom or a monovalent group and R5 an alkoxy group containing the aryl group. R1-R4 are bonded mutually, and represent alicyclic four or twelve-membered cycles, which may contain hetero-atoms. It is preferable that the substituting groups of Ar1, Ar2 and R1-R5 are 20C or less, particularly 15C or less. Accordingly, a color developing section has absorption in a near infrared region, and developing properties, raw shelf stability and the stability of a coloring picture are improved. |
