<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the S/N and to prevent an FM inversion phenomenon at the time of demodulation by controlling a capstan motor to a value set to the vicinity of the maximum value of a composite envelope value of a crosstalk component of an adjacent track. CONSTITUTION:A crosstalk component of the left and the right adjacent tracks of a recording video track to be reproduced is detected 107, and an envelope of the crosstalk component is detected 108 and inverted 109. This inverted crosstalk envelope signal is converted 45 to a digital signal, and a reproduced HiFi audio signal is brought to envelope detection 44 and converted 46 to a digital signal. Both these digital signals are added 49. Subsequently, a capstan motor 9 is controlled so as to hold a set value set to the vicinity of the maximum value of the added composite envelope value.</p> |
