<p>PURPOSE:To make storage of red blood cells possible for a long time at a room temperature with contamination of the red blood cells prevented by various germs by constituting a blood gathering bag of a blood component separating bag and a storage fluid supply bag and connecting these constitutional members through a connecting tube and a connecting pipe. CONSTITUTION:A storage bag 1 for red blood cells is constituted of a blood gathering bag 2 provided with a blood gathering tube 10 mounted with a blood drawing needle 9 in the upper end part of a bag main unit 8 further with an upper part internal surface 11 of the bag main unit 8 formed in funnel shape, one or more blood component separator bags 3, 4 for receiving blood components except the red blood cells from the blood gathering bag 2 and one or more storage fluid supply bags 5, 6, 7 filled with storage fluid of the red blood cells in the side of bag main units 28, 28a, 28b, and these bags are connected to each other through connecting tubes 12 to 18 and connecting pipes 19, 20. The storage fluid of the red blood cells contains components of at least sodium chloride, glucose, adenine and maltose.</p> |
