PURPOSE:To reduce an amount of play in the thrust direction of a sleeve and to prevent a damage at the end parts of the sleeve by providing a pair of thrust pad devices supporting both ends of the sleeve on a roll axis. CONSTITUTION:When a thrust force toward the right acts on the sleeve 5, a thrust load is born by a roller bearing 1d of a right thrust pad device 1 to move the sleeve 5 to the right. When thrust force to the left acts to the contrary on the sleeve, the thrust load is born by the roller bearing 1d of a left thrust device 1. Accordingly, the thrust force acting on the sleeve 5 can be supported by a roll axis 51 through the thrust pad device 1. As a result, an amount of play of the sleeve 5 in the thrust direction and the damage at the end parts of the sleeve are reduced. Bearings 53a-53c by the thrust loas of the bearings 1d at an eccentric axis parts 51 of the end parts can be prevented from damage. |
