PURPOSE:To improve welding quality by introducing a laser beam via a condenser lens into the hole made after the defect generated in a welded joint part is removed and feeding a filler metal in proximity thereto, then laminating the weld metal in which the filler metal is melted by the above-mentioned laser beam into the above-mentioned hole. CONSTITUTION:The detect in the weld zone of a base metal 1 is cut with a small volume and the hole part 2 is formed. A nozzle body 3 which projects the laser beam 4 via a deflecting prism 5 and a condenser lens 6 is inserted freely turnably around the hole axis into the inlet part of this hole part 2. A filler metal feeding part 7 which guides the wire- or bar-shaped filler metal 9 via an insulating tip 8 in parallel with the hole axis is attached to the outer side of the nozzle body 3. After the laser beam 4 is inclined toward the hole wall via the deflecting prism 5, the laser beam is condensed by the condenser lens 6 to a focusing beam. The front end of the filler metal 9 is metaled by the energy of the beam and then solidified to form the weld metal 13. The quality of welding and the workability are improved in this way. |
