PURPOSE:To erase information, while using a method of a write only memory for recording in a hole open shape by inserting and holding the upper and the lower parts of a recording film consisting a low melting point material by heat resisting insulating films whose melting point is high, and which are not deformed by heat. CONSTITUTION:An optical disk is formed by laminating successively a first transparent heat resisting insulating film 6, a recording film 7 consisting of a low melting point material, a second heat resisting insulating film 8 and a protective film 9 on a transparent disk substrate 1 provided with a guide groove. In such a state, a laser light of high power and short time is radiated to the film 7 through the substrate 1, and by opening a hole 5, information is recorded. Also, by radiating a laser light of low power and long time along the guide groove and melting slowly the film, hole filling-up is executed, and the information is erased. In such a way, a partial correction of the information recorded in the disk can be executed. |
