PURPOSE:To prevent soil by a carrier in an image forming device and image irregularity by arranging a carrier grasping magnet in a downstream side carrier splashing area in a brush roller rotating direction, beneath the part where an image carrier comes into contact with a brush roller. CONSTITUTION:The magnet 15 is attachably and detachably provided beneath the brush roller 11 at the bottom of a housing 10, that is, in the downstream side carrier splashing area in the brush rotating direction. A magnetic carrier C attaching to a photosensitive body 4 is scraped away from the photosensitive body 4 together with remaining toner T on the photosensitive body 4, by the rotation of the brush roller 11, and maintained in the magnet 15. In such a way, the carrier C scraped away from the image carrier 4 by the brush roller 11 is maintained in a device so that it does not splash out of the device, whereby the soil by the carrier in the device and image irregularity can be prevented. |
