Title: Storage device for an implanting tool A storage device for an implanting tool for implanting an implant into the body of an animal, said implanting tool including a handle provided with a hollow needle, and being loadable by inserting said needle into an implant accommodating cavity of a reservoir for implants. According to the invention, the device is characterized by a holder portion for accommodating a reservoir for implants and by fastening means for fastening the storage device in an operative position, said fastening means and said holder portion being so shaped, and so positioned relative to each other, that, in the operative position of the storage device, a cavity of a reservoir placed in the holder portion can hold the needle of an implanting tool.
