PURPOSE:To ensure the correct retrieval, by detecting the marks on a film in sequence by means of at least three photoelectric transducers and then using various films having different shapes of marks. CONSTITUTION:A supply reel 1 and a take-up reel 10 are connected to a film stretching and take-up motor, and a capstan roller 8 is connected to a film drive motor. A microfilm F is strethced out between the reels 1 and 10 to be taken up to the reel 10 or to be rewound to the reel 1 by the drive of the roller 8. The photoelectric transducer provided in a mark detector 11 that detects finally the mark while the film F is fed so that the film is transported to the detecting position through the tip of the film. In this case, the mark detection signal is obtained by the combination of the signals delivered from each photoelectric transducer. |
