An antifreeze compsn. of pH 7.0-9.0 is composed of 0.07-0.35 wt.% sodium mitrate, 0.05-0.5 wt.% sodium silicate or potassium silicate, 0.2-2.0 wt.% potassium disphosphate, 0.1-1.0 wt.% sodium molybdate, 0.02-0.3 wt.% sodium vanadate, 0.05-0.3 wt.% sodium tolyltriazol, 0.5-4.0 wt.% benzoic acid, 0.01-0.5 wt.% organic silane of formula (I) and residual wt.% of ethyleneglycol. In (I), R is C1-4 aliphatic alkyl, R1 is -CH2-O-CH2C(OH)H-CH2-; R2 and R3 are each phenyl, cyanogen or methyl carbinol. The compsn. is useful for the radiator of aluminium materials.
